Vayavya Labs will present paper in IP-ESC 2009

 

IP - ESC 2009 (IP-Embedded Systems Conference) will be the 18th edition of the working conference on hot topics in the SoC design world. The exhibition will be held in the renowned Silicon Valley of the French Alps.

Vayavya Labs to be part of ISA's business delegation to UK


India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the premier trade body representing the semiconductor industry in the country, is organising a business delegation visit to the UK from 28 September to 2 October 2009. Led by Dr Omkar Rai, senior director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), department of information and technology, ministry of communication & IT, Government of India, the delegation includes hardware design and embedded software companies such as Wipro, TCS, Circuitsutra, CMC, KPIT Cummins, Smartplay Technologies, SiWays Microelectronics, United Telecom Ltd and Vayavya Labs. B-school grads choose to go solo as jobs go missing


With the wait for jobs getting longer, the number of B-school graduates turning to start-ups is also increasing. A first-year student at IIM Bangalore launched a start-up called NextGen this year which deals in clean technology. NextGen recently bagged clean technology projects from the ministry of renewable energy and Yes Bank and companies like Intel, Infosys, MindTree, and now boasts of presence in Singapore and Portugal.

First-year IIM-B student Abhinav Jain, 24, is one of the students attending an interview to get the live project as he wants to launch a start-up in the technology space. “The idea is to understand how start-ups work, know the challenges and how to interact with potential clients,” said Mr Jain. Kanchan Mishra, 24, another first-year IIM-B student is also interested to get hooked to start-ups. For more details click here
